Bush's presidency in 2001 and the Republican Party congressional dominance is now down to support only among frequent churchgoers, with conservatives and senior citizens showing minimal decline.

The Republican Party clearly has lost a lot of support since 2001, the first year of George W. Bush's administration.

Most of the loss in support actually occurred beginning in 2005, after Hurricane Katrina, Bush's nomination of Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court, and congressional over spending – all created major public relations problems for the administration and congressional caucus amid declining support for the Iraq war. I have been told that few, if any, Senate staffers have been interviewed or testified before Grand Jury. My logic is that Corbett needs this network to get elected so he does not poke the bee hive. The Senate Rs seem more egregious than House Rs. I did not see reference to Perzel-Preski campaign money issue.

Great job with this site. Unfortunately, there is little attention to this issue in the southeast. Rs are quiet because any activist, like me, thinks this is a partisan prosecution and that it is impossible that Republican leadership in both House and Senate were doing the same thing.

Keep up the solid work.bobguzzardihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02279397733347448479noreply@blogger.com
